Kennedy Western University is registered with the Wyoming Department of Education under WS 21-2-401 through 21-2-407. This registration allows the university to legally conduct business in the state. The Northern Central Board’s Higher Education Commission arranged for an assessment team to conduct a “preliminary candidacy” visit on 13-15 October 2008, another necessary step towards accreditation.
